Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Description:

Eon Collective is seeking an experienced Data Engineer for a 6-month contract position. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end data solutions, data pipelines, and ETL processes. You will work with a variety of data technologies, including Snowflake, Python, Dbt, Azure Data Factory, Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions. Your expertise in Python and SQL, along with your strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles, will be key in delivering successful projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop end-to-end data solutions, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
  • Utilize data technologies such as Snowflake, Python, Dbt, Azure Data Factory, Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
  • Ensure data governance, data quality, and data security principles are implemented throughout the data engineering processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver optimal solutions.
  • Work in an Agile environment, following best practices and contributing to project planning and execution.
  • Manage projects and teams, providing technical leadership and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Engage in practice development activities, sharing knowledge and contributing to the improvement of data engineering practices.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in data technologies such as Snowflake, Python, Dbt, Azure Data Factory, Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
  • Proven experience designing and developing end-to-end data solutions, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
  • Expertise in Python and SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Project management experience with a track record of delivering solutions within defined timeframes.
  • Skilled in building relationships with clients and contributing to practice development.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff.

Time Sheet Coordinator and Personal Assistant

Job Title: Time Sheet Coordinator and Personal Assistant (PA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to join our team as a Time Sheet Coordinator and Personal Assistant (PA). This role requires excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The Time Sheet Coordinator and PA will be responsible for coordinating and managing time sheets for the organization while also providing administrative support to senior executives. This is a dynamic position that requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Time Sheet Coordination:

  • Collect and review time sheets from employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Enter time sheet data into the designated system accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to time sheets, collaborating with employees and relevant departments to ensure proper resolution.
  • Generate reports on time sheet data, including hours worked, overtime, and vacation/sick leave, and present them to management as required.
  • Assist in developing and implementing time sheet policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding time sheet submission, approval, and related inquiries.

Personal Assistant (PA) Duties:

  • Manage the daily calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for executives or other designated personnel.
  • Prepare and organize documents, presentations, and reports as requested.
  • Screen phone calls, emails, and correspondence, responding or redirecting as appropriate.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing meetings, including arranging logistics, preparing agendas, and taking minutes when necessary.
  • Coordinate and manage special projects or events, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in time sheet coordination, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Proficient in using time sheet management software or systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Previous experience as a personal assistant or in providing administrative support is a plus.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
